Phyllis Zagano PhD will be speaking at St. Vincent
DePaul Parish Hall (900 Madison Ave. in Albany) on
Sunday, November 22 at 12:30pm. She is an
internationally-recognized theological scholar and
author of some 27 books on religion. Dr. Zagano will
discuss the question of women in ministry and speak
about her new book – The Vatican and Women Deacons
Dr. Zagano, who is the winner of 2 Fulbright awards,
served on the 2016-2018 Papal Commission for the
Study of the Diaconate of Women. She is currently an
adjunct professor at Hofstra University.
