Event Details: ALL SOULS DAY EVENING PAYER
SERVICE
On Monday, November 2 at 7 pm the
Bereavement Team will celebrate the Feast
of All Souls with Evening Prayer. All Souls
Day is a time set aside by the church for all
of us to remember in prayer all our family
and friends that have died and to give
thanks for their presence in our lives. All
parishioners are invited to this service. We
honor those whom have been buried from
Christ the King in the past year by reading
their names aloud during the service and
returning the wall cross to the families of
the deceased. Any parishioner who has
suffered the loss of an immediate family
member (parent, grandparent, sibling or
child) who was buried from another church
during the past church year is welcome to
have their loved one’s name read during
the service also. Call the parish office, 518-
456-1644, with the information and we will
be happy to add them to the list. This All
Souls Prayer Service is a wonderful way to
remember those whom have shared their
lives with us. At the same time, it is a
unique opportunity for us to come together
as a community in support of each other in
our grief and in the hope of eternal life.
